Want to go behind the scenes of your favorite “Henry Danger” episodes? It’s easier than you’d think, and you don’t have to go to Hollywood to do it!
Nickelodeon presents “The After Party” broadcasts after new episodes to talk with the actors about what it was like backstage. They answer fan questions, play games, chat about the show, and discuss the episode with the segment’s host, Karen… AKA “Just Karen.”
The most recent “After Party” brought together actors Jace Norman (Henry), Ella Anderson (Piper) and Cooper Barnes (Captain Man) to talk about the episode “Mouth Candy.” Cooper sums up the episode in seven words, per Karen’s request, “Jasper is framed for crimes not committed.” Better, at least, than Ella’s seven-word recap: “I wasn’t there so I don’t know.”
In a bit more detail, in “Mouth Candy” Henry’s BFF Jasper is falsely accused of stealing a $10,000 candy boot. It’s up to Captain Man and Kid Danger to clear Jasper’s name by getting a confession from the real burglar (none other than Mitch Bilsky). Antics, as always, ensue… and a live snake does too! YIKES!
“The After Party” is about more than the just episode — it’s about getting to know the cast. That’s what makes it so fun! We find out that while Captain Man hates snakes, Cooper actually likes them quite a bit. Cooper and Jace are also given the opportunity to finish the podcast that kept getting interrupted during the episode. When you watch the video, don’t miss Jace’s explanation for how chewing gum transforms them into superheros. It will blow your mind as well as your bubble!
Joining Ella, Jace, and Cooper are Riele Downs and Sean Ryan Fox, who play Charlotte and Jasper on “Henry Danger.” Along with Ella and Jace, they play a game called “Candy Catch.” Sean’s Kermit the Frog impression is a treat, while Jace’s claim that he gets to work on time is more of a trick.
Time to chew some gum and hope for an amazing transformation. We don’t fully expect our clothes to change, but hey, fresh breath is better than nothing!
