One thing we love about Dan Schneider TV shows is that many of them share the same hilarious, colorful universe. For fans, this means references galore, recurring characters, and — best of all — the occasional crossover between series!
Fans of the hit “iCarly” left the series fulfilled in most ways, but not without questions. One lingering mystery is whether Freddie, played by Nathan Kress, liked Carly or Sam better romantically. Apparently, the kids on “Game Shakers” have the same burning question. While most of us can only speculate, Babe, Kenzie and the gang are in a unique position to try and find out!
On September 17th, Game Shakers producer and creator Dan Schneider tweeted out a picture that got the entire fandom excited.

On September 10, Nathan Kress himself sent out a cryptic tweet about an “iCarly” related surprise! Now fans know a little bit more about what’s in store, though we can assure you there are plenty of surprises to come.
So, what’s the deal? We can’t spoil too much, but we can say that the Game Shakers — eager to solve this love triangle — find out that Freddie is in New York City and decide to visit his hotel for some light stalking. Antics ensue, and they end up breaking into his room.
If you thought an appearance by Nathan Kress was awesome, guess what? This episode is also directed by Nathan, who is involved behind-the-scenes on “Game Shakers” as well as “Henry Danger.” With Nathan at the helm, you can be sure Dan Schneider’s newest hits share the humor and heart we all loved in “iCarly.”
So, is the question answered? Who does Freddie like more? On “iCarly” he dated both girls and shared kisses with each at least seven times. Both girls said they loved him and had a last kiss in the elevator before breaking up in the Shay residence. And though the finale hinted at a future for Carly and Freddie, AKA “Creddie”, Nathan’s appearance on “Sam & Cat” made clear that “Seddie” was also a possibility.
We don’t want to spoil anything, so it’s probably better to watch the “Game Shakers” episode for yourself when it airs later this season. Whether or not this Nickelodeon love triangle is ever really solved, we don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this awesome collaboration.
